Shipping/Transport
There are several methods of puppy transport you may consider when your puppy is ready for pickup.
In-Person Pickup:
This is, by far, is our preferred method. Whether that involves a family road trip for you to come pick up your new puppy, meeting you at the airport (with you acting as your own flight nanny), or meeting you at a pre-arranged location within 200 miles of our home, we prefer to meet our new puppy owners in person at the time of pickup. This allows us to not only meet you and for you to meet us, but also helps limit the amount of stress the puppy might experience during this time, ensuring a smoother transition for everybody involved.
Flight Nanny or 3rd Party Transport:
If you choose to hire someone to pickup and transport your new puppy for you, we are more than happy to work with ground transport companies and flight nannies to ensure a smooth trip for your puppy.
In such cases, the puppy owner is responsible for all transport arrangements and costs.
Also, due to the nature of 3rd party transports, we are not and cannot be held liable for anything that happens to the puppy after it leaves our care. A Release of Liability form MUST be signed by the puppy owner prior to pickup.
In the unfortunate event that a new puppy owner refuses to sign the Release of Liability form, any payments previously made on the puppy (puppy deposit or paid in full) will NOT be refunded. The puppy in question will only be released once the appropriate form has been signed and received.
The Release of Liability form must be signed at least two days prior to transport pickup.
Pet Air Cargo:
At this time we do not ship our puppies via air cargo or any other shipping method that does not involve an individual (either the new puppy owner or someone hired on their behalf) receiving and taking responsibility for the puppy in person.
