Hello & Welcome!

My name is T.K. Hatfield. I own Hatfield Huskies, a small Siberian Husky breeding program located in Southern Idaho. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal and Veterinary Science and have over 20 years of experience in the animal and agriculture industries.

Hatfield Huskies was established in 2022 when my husband and I purchased Zyla as a mutual wedding present to one another.

My husband, Michael, was raised around Beagles and Boxers. A few years before we were married, he briefly owned a grey and white husky puppy named Shiloh. He’d only had her for about a month before she was stolen, an occurrence that, unfortunately, is not uncommon in our area.

As for myself, I was raised on a farm and had a great deal of experience raising and training working dog breeds such as the Australian Cattle Dog, Border Collie, and the Australian Kelpie. They were all fantastic dogs who fulfilled their purpose on the farm and will forever hold a special place in my heart. <3

Before we were married, Michael and I talked a few times about our love and admiration for the Siberian Husky breed. The Siberian Husky had always been a dream dog for both of us and we talked about owning one eventually, but didn’t really have any plans on how soon we’d make that happen. Then, just a few months into our marriage, we saw an ad for Zyla’s litter. We decided to go meet the puppies and the rest, as they say, is history.

Zyla brought so much joy and happiness into our lives that we knew almost immediately she wouldn’t be our only husky for long.

Zephyr came next. He was already over a year old when we met him. His previous family was in the middle of moving to Oregon and they were unable to take him along. Through some mutual family connections, we learned about Zephyr and his story and, after talking with his family and a brief introduction, we decided to bring him home.

Together, Zyla and Zephyr became the founding breeding pair behind Hatfield Huskies. Since then, our pack and our program has grown and now includes Seyka and Sylfr as well.

We are proud of our program here at Hatfield Huskies, and we’re excited to share our dogs and puppies with the world! We focus on producing quality, well-bred dogs, not quantity. We breed for temperament, intelligence, and genetic health. All of our dogs are Embark DNA tested and OFA Hips and Elbows certified.
